Home Sleep Study
A diagnostic sleep study (technically known as a polysomnogram or PSG) is the ‘gold standard’ for the diagnosis of sleep disordered breathing conditions.
Diagnostic sleep studies can be performed in a hospital setting, or at home. We can help you with either.
Home sleep studies are done with portable diagnostic recorders which are worn overnight in the comfort, privacy and convenience of your own home.
The recorder monitors your brain and cardiac activity, breathing patterns, limb movement, sleeping position, blood oxygen levels and much more.
You do not need to travel to see a Sleep Physician (unless there are unusual circumstances, or you want to). You don’t need to be on a long waiting list, there are no hospital stays, no parking/travelling costs and no unexpected out of pocket expenses or fees.
The negative ill-health consequences of SDB are serious. However, the effects of treatment are extraordinarily positive.
