Success Rate Of CPAP Machines

Tue, Jun 05, 2012
The success rate of CPAP machines has been widely discussed and studied, with some finding 'success' rates as low as 40%.  On the other hand, at Sleep Clinic Services our success rate is slightly more than 90%.

One thing is for certain:  it's not the CPAP machine that makes the difference.  Sure, different machines, masks, tubes, humidifiers and headsets will all make a difference to the feel and fit of the treatment.  But most CPAP suppliers don't take the time to test all these options to ensure the best possible fit and outcome.

The simple truth is that CPAP is 100% successful ... provided the patient wears the equipment.  So often we work with patients who have tried CPAP previously and given up in disgust.  When one of our sleep therapy nurses introduces them to a different combination of equipment, they suddenly find they enjoy wearing the equipment, won't try to go to sleep without it, and REALLY love the extra vitality and wellbeing they experience once they start being properly treated.

Our sleep therapy nurses will guide you step by step through the CPAP journey.  Our aim is to achieve a perfect success rate for CPAP patients.  We never simply give you a machine and wish you well.  Instead, your personally assigned nurse will visit and check regularly to confirm that your CPAP treatment is proving successful.  If not, they will try different alternatives ... and they will keep doing so until they find the right solution for you.

If you need CPAP treatment and if you want to be sure it's actually going to work for you, call today on 1300 246 637 for a free, no-obligation chat with a friendly sleep therapist.  At Sleep Clinic Services we really care about making sure you are successfully treated.
